Attending the prestigious private school, Minerva Academy, sixteen-year-old twins, Grayson and Leah Ryder, run their school’s newspaper. Everyone knows Leah as the brainy, nerdy one who can’t turn down a good story, and Grayson as the athletic, brawny one that keeps her safe. After they crack the case of who’s forging test scores, Headmaster Chalmers offers them a reward—a trip to see the opening of the National Egyptian Museum in Cairo.

With an exhibit featuring an old ruler known the Lost Pharaoh—Kafratep, who inherited the title after her father’s death—the twins are told to report on the story. Kafratep’s tomb was lost for centuries, only recently found by archaeologists and sent to the museum for display. After being betrayed and poisoned by her jealous brother, the legend states that whoever finds and opens her tomb will suffer misfortune and pain.

When many of her artifacts go missing—and mummy sightings and strange occurrences start happening—some fear the curse is true. But the Ryder twins have a hunch that a master thief is at play, trying to make the museum look haunted to get away with their crimes. With a list of suspects growing and their time in Egypt coming to an end, the Ryder twins set out to find the culprit—and get back the museum’s stolen pieces before someone gets hurt...

Thanks for reading!

Best of luck if you're doing NaNoWriMo. Remember, the goal is to get words down - any of them. Take it slow and believe in yourself!

Sincerely,

Dana
