Meet My 28th Novel!

With #NaNoWriMo over, I’m moving on to my final project of 2020 — Astro Academy, a middle grade sci-fi novel and the first in a new series. I’m taking inspiration from Star Trek and my middle grade fantasy novel I wrote a few months ago called Ghoul School, a school for supernatural creatures.

Here’s the summary so far:

“In the year 2240, Earth lives in relative peace with the rest of the aliens in the galaxy. But Astro Academy — the largest, most prestigious academy in the Milky Way — has never had human students. President Kwan of Earth pulls a few strings to get Isaiah and Abigail Freeman, the twin children of a spaceship captain and an admiral, to take the admission exams.

Even though many of the aliens at the school don’t believe humanity is ready, the twins pass and begin their studies. But as they stress over making new friends and learning hard subjects like galactic history and astrobiology, there are murmurs of war in the galaxy. When alien planets, space stations, and ships are attacked, leaving Earth untouched, everyone points the finger at humanity.

With their lives and reputation at stake, Isaiah and Abigail must find and stop these terrorists before Earth and the galaxy are plunged into chaos.”

I’m a huge sci-fi fan, so I’m excited to start a new series about a school set on a space station! I start writing on December 4th and I can't wait to show this one to my agent. It's going to be so fun!

Thanks for reading!
