Can you believe I'm on my 25th novel? When I first started writing, I never imagined I'd get this far. Here's to many, many more!
My novel is called (wait for it...)
CHATTER!
It's a young adult paranormal mystery. Paranormal fiction is making a comeback, and I've had this idea in my head for a long time. Here's the blurb so far:
"After a freak car accident, seventeen-year-old Zoey Mulligan is shocked to discover she can hear people’s thoughts. She hates it at first, but then she realizes she can use it to her advantage – like hearing her math teacher give the correct answers in his head, outsmarting her opponents on her soccer team, and learning that her crush likes her back.
When she finds out her stepmother hates her and her father sees her as a burden, she decides to move back in with her mother in the small town of Driftwood. When she arrives, she can hear a dark, mysterious voice vowing to kill people in town soon. If Zoey can’t find out who is thinking that thought and stop them, people will get hurt."

I start writing it on Monday the 31st! So excited to get into this novel of secrets and lies. I haven't written a standalone novel in a long time, so I'm happy to get back to it. Don't get my wrong -- I love writing trilogies -- but sometimes, it's just nice to write a book and be done with it.
